1.Advocate for library services at a senior level. 2.Ensure professional visibility within the organisation and across government (for example, participation in GKIM Heads of Profession). 3.Share knowledge and good practice with other organisations, and capture good practice from them. 4.Develop links within the wider library profession (for example, participation within professional bodies and collaboration with national libraries). 5.Build librarian capability and culture across the organisation, championing the need for resources and skills to support new ways of working. 6.Ensure librarians at all levels are adequately supported and can access and participate in continuous professional development.
