1.Act as the recognised and visible authority within the organisation for library and information services, providing expert advice and recommendations to senior leadership. 2.Develop and communicate the strategic direction for library services across the organisation, ensuring these are aligned to government initiatives and fit with wider KIM policies. 3.Actively promote library and information services, and demonstrate the organisational benefits of investment in library and information services.
