Summary
The Clinical Coding Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the clinical coding team, ensuring policies are followed. You will manage a diverse coding team of mixed ability, supporting coders to deliver a high-quality coding service, providing robust and timely coded data crucial to the business needs of the organisation.
Monitoring of agreed key performance and quality metrics will form a major part of your role, ensuring high levels of accuracy and identifying areas for improvement. You will work to ensure that the team works in line with the organisation's strategic aims and embodies its values at all times. You will engage with clinicians and build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that data is timely, standardised and robust to support performance.
