Chief Analytics Officer

Summary

As a senior leader in this role is central to leading across data science and business intelligence to develop a strategy that supports a generational change in how we deliver health and/or social care.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of the data and intelligence teams that deliver services to all teams across the organisation. They will be responsible for developing a data strategy and for delivering that within the allocated resources. Plans to achieve the strategy will be underpinned by the delivery of short to medium term objectives.

The post holder will manage a team of analysts and data scientists within and will be expected to regularly work with Exec directors, the board and other senior stakeholders.

Policies, standards, and guidelines (Level 5) (BINT) Manages the development of clinical coding policy, standards and guidelines to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.
Process improvement (BINT) (Level 5) Manages the review of the value created through business intelligence reports/outputs in order to assess process improvement opportunities, to democratise data, and maximise business benefit.
